Shimano Nordic, France, Polska and Benelux start distribution of Dainese bike collection

Two famous brands join hands on distribution as Dainese and the Shimano sales offices in Europe team up. Shimano will be the exclusive distributor of the Dainese bike collection in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, France, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg from July 1st, 2009.
Dainese a world market leader in protection gear for motor- and action sports and Shimano see great opportunities to grow the market of protection gear for mountain biking.
‘Mountain biking developed itself from two disciplines, downhill and cross country, to a multiple discipline sport that requires specific products for each kind of rider. Body protection is getting more and more important in that perspective and who else than Dainese can fill in that gap best’ says Marc van Rooij, president of the Shimano Europe Bike Holding.
